Welcome to St Joseph's GHSS Karukutty

Congregation of Mother Of Carmel (CMC), with the great aspiration to work for the uplift of women and children was found by greatest visionaries St.Chavara Kuriakose Elias with the help of italian missionary Rev. Leopold Boccaro As part of the apostholic service, St. Joseph's GHSS Karukutty evoled with the mission to form children as a blessing to home, society and the world. Looking back, this prestegious institution had its budding on 30th of April 1908 as a private school. On 1921 May 22 Govt. approved this as English middle school and on 1944 Jan 25Th our school was upgraded as H.S Sr. Euphresia was the first Headmistress. HS upgraded to HSS during the accademic year 2015 - 2016 . Preceeding Headmistress, teachers parents and all well wishers with their strenous effort raised our institution to this prestigious stage.
